Warning issued to M/s. Atmaram Kejriwal & Co., Member of UPSE

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has passed an order dated December 27, 2005, warning M/s. Atmaram Kejriwal & Co. (SEBI Reg. No. INB100362712), Member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange Association Ltd.

The order has been passed by Shri Madhukar, Whole Time Member, SEBI, against M/s. Atmaram Kejriwal & Co. for not maintaining Margin Deposit Book and Order Book, non-maintenance of written consent of clients in case of transactions with them on principal to principal basis, irregularities in the issuance of contract notes, proof for income and/or identity/Unique client code not obtained, not using Unique Client Codes at the time of entry of orders in the system, failed to segregate client funds from own funds though separate accounts, delay in payments/delivery, failed to appoint Compliance Officer, entered into direct money transactions between members, entered into negotiated deals etc.
