Interim Order cum Show Cause Notice in the matter of M/s Bhoomi Devcon and Agritech Ltd and its Directors

Shri S. Raman, Whole Time Member, SEBI has issued an interim order cum show cause notice dated June 29, 2015 in the matter of M/s Bhoomi Devcon and Agritech Ltd ( Company) and its Directors. The company is having its registered office at 2nd floor, Shop No. U59, Parivahan Complex, New Bus stand, Badhoriya Chowk, Above Axis bank Rajnandgaon – 491441 (CG). The order inter-alia directed the company and directors Mr. Lal Chand Vishvakarma, Ms. Radha Bai Vishwakarma, Mr. Ghasi Ram Vishwakarma and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Agrawal :-

1. not to collect any fresh money from investors from its existing scheme;
2. not to launch any new scheme/plan or float any new companies to raise fresh moneys;
3. not to dispose of any of the properties or alienate the assets of the existing scheme;
4. not to divert any funds raised from public at large, kept in bank account(s) and/or in the custody of the company;

Bhoomi Devcon and Agritech Ltd was mobilizing funds from investors / public under its schemes ostensibly under a scheme/arrangement of selling of plots on instalments without being registered with SEBI and as a result of the aforesaid activity has violated provisions of the SEBI Act, 1992 and SEBI (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 1999.
