Order in the matter of M/s. MPA Agro-Animals Projects Limited

Shri Prashant Saran, Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), has passed an order dated January 21, 2015 in the matter of MPA Agro-Animals Projects Limited directing inter-alia that the company shall not mobilize funds from investors and that the company and its directors are prohibited from issuing prospectus or any offer document or issue advertisement for soliciting money from the public for the issue of securities, in any manner whatsoever, either directly or indirectly, till further orders. The company and its directors shall not dispose off any of the properties of the company and shall not divert any funds raised from the public.
 
The company was engaged in fund mobilizing activity through issue of Equity Shares to more than 49 persons without complying with the provisions of SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 ("ICDR Regulations") and the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956.
