Shri. Rajeev Kumar Agarwal, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order dated December 31, 2012, issuing directions to Mr. Sunil Krishan Khaitan, Mr. Krishan Khaitan, Khaitan Lefin Limited and The Orientale Mercantile
Company Limited to make a combined public announcement to acquire shares of the Target Company, Khaitan Electricals Limited, in terms of regulations 10 and 11(1) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and
Takeovers) Regulations, 1997, within a period of 45 days from the date of this Order.
