Consent order on the application submitted by Shri Nirankar Nath Mittal and others

A Panel consisting of Whole Time Members, SEBI, Dr. K. M. Abraham and Shri Prashant Saran, has passed a consent order dated November 29, 2010 on the application submitted voluntarily by Shri Nirankar Nath Mittal, on his behalf and on behalf of Shri Nirvikar Nath Mittal, Shri Omkar Nath Mittal, Smt. Sarita Mittal, Smt. Neena Mittal, Shri Shri Kant Mittal, Shri Saurabh Kant Mittal, M/s. Mittal Fragrances (P) Ltd. and Smt. Brij Lata Mittal (hereinafter referred to as the “applicants”) for non-compliance of provisions of regulation 7 (1) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers), Regulations, 1997, in respect of acquisition of shares of Howard Hotels Limited, in accordance with SEBI Circular dated April 20, 2007 for consent orders.

The applicants, without admitting or denying guilt, have remitted a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) towards settlement charges in the matter.
