Consent Order in the matter of M/s. Marathwada Refractories Limited
A Panel consisting of Whole Time Members, SEBI, Dr. K.M. Abraham and Shri Prashant Saran, has passed a consent order dated April 26, 2010 on the consent application submitted by M/s. Marathwada Refractories Limited (hereafter referred to as the �applicant�) for non-compliance with the provisions of Regulations 6(2) and 6(4) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers), Regulations, 1997 { hereafter referred to as �Takeover Regulation�} for the year 1997 and Regulation 8(3) of the Takeover Regulation for the year 1998 to 2004, in accordance with SEBI Circular dated April 20, 2007 for consent orders.
The applicant without admitting or denying guilt has remitted a sum of Rs.3,80,000/- (Rupees three lakh and eighty thousand only) towards settlement charges in the matter.
