Consent Order in the matter of M/s. Oswal Overseas Limited
A Panel consisting of Shri M.S. Sahoo, Whole Time Member, SEBI, and Dr. K.M. Abraham, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed a consent order dated February 10, 2010 on the consent application submitted by M/s. Oswal Overseas Limited for non-compliance of the provisions of Regulation 6(2) and Regulation 6(4) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers), Regulations, 1997 for the year 1997 and non-compliance of the provisions of Regulation 8(3) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers), Regulations, 1997 for the years 1998 to 2008 within the time specified therein. The applicant without admitting or denying guilt has remitted a sum of Rs.5,75,000/- (Rupees five lakh seventy five thousand only) towards settlement charges in the matter.
