Shri M.S.Sahoo, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order dated October 01, 2009, rejecting the application by SMIFS Capital Markets Limited for renewal of certificate of registration as a Merchant Banker, and directing it to stop carrying on the activities as a Merchant Banker with immediate effect.
