Dr. T. C. Nair, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order dated January 15, 2009, in the matter of M/s. Eider Infotech Limited warning M/s. Sanchit Financial and Management Services Ltd. Member of National Stock Exchange of India Ltd., to the effect that the broker should be careful in future and exercise due skill, care and diligence in the conduct of its affairs as a capital market intermediary. M/s. Sanchit Financial and Management Services Ltd. has also been directed to note that any instances of violation or non-compliance of the SEBI Act, Rules and Regulations in future shall be dealt with stringently.
