Order in the matter of Database Finance Limited

Dr. T. C. Nair, Whole Time Member, SEBI has passed an order dated January 14, 2009 in the matter of Database Finance Limited restraining ;

  1. Shri Shirish C. Shah from accessing the securities market and prohibiting from buying, selling or dealing in securities, either directly or indirectly, for a period of two years;
     

  2. Shri Baban Sonate, Chandrika V Pandya, Platinum Finvest Pvt Ltd., Shri Sayyad Qader Yusuf, and Shri S Shaktishravana from accessing the securities market and prohibiting from buying, selling or dealing in securities, either directly or indirectly, for a period of six months;
     

  3. Mahek Consultants as a client from buying, selling or dealing in securities market in its name for a period of six months.

The order shall come into force with immediate effect.
