Order against M/s. Prabhudas Lilladher Pvt. Ltd., Member, BSE
Shri Madhukar, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order on January 12, 2006 against M/s. Prabhudas Lilladher Pvt. Ltd.,
(PLPL) Member of The Stock Exchange, Mumbai under Regulation 13(4) of SEBI (Procedure for Holding Enquiry by Enquiry Officer and Imposing Penalty) Regulations, 2002 warning the broker to be careful in carrying on of their activities and to avoid such activities in future.
In the matter of Ojas Technochem Products Ltd., SEBI appointed an Enquiry Officer to enquire into the alleged violations of SEBI (Stock Broker) Regulations by
PLPL. Enquiry officer submitted his report and observed that PLPL has violated SEBI Circulars
No.SEBI/SMD/Cir/3/97 dated 31.03.97 and SEBI/SMD/Policy/Cir/3/98 dated 16.01.1998 by dealing with an unregistered sub-broker for a short period. Consequently, SEBI passed the order after considering the submissions made by PLPL
