SEBI had conducted investigations into the alleged irregularities in the buying, selling and dealing in the scrip of M/s Amara Raja Batteries Ltd. Pursuant to investigations, SEBI after considering the facts found Shri Rajesh Meghani, Member NSE guilty of violating the provisions of SEBI regulations and suspended the certificate of registration granted to Shri Rajesh Meghani for a period of 6 months w.e.f. August 19, 2003.
