Chairman SEBI has passed an Order against Shri Hemendra V Shah in the case of Suryadeep Salts, Refinery & Chemical Works Ltd. Vide the aforesaid Order, Chairman has in exercise of the powers conferred on him under Section 4(3) read with Section 11 B of SEBI Act as also Regulation 11 and 12 of SEBI (Prohibition for Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices relating to Securities Market) Regulations, 1995 directed Shri Hemendra V Shah not to access the capital markets or deal in securities for a period of two years with immediate effect.
