Sub: Suspension of certificate of registration of Shri Bimal Kumar Bararia, member of Calcutta Stock Exchange

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended the certificate of registration of Shri Bimal Kumar Bararia, member of Calcutta Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB030657115) for a period of four months. The penalty is imposed for delay in payments to clients, non-maintenance of ‘Know Your Client’ Forms, dealing as un-registered sub broker, issuance of contract notes of CSE for the transactions done on NSE, non-issuance of contract notes, not reporting off-the-floor transactions, non-maintenance of document register, irregularities in issuance of contract notes and not segregating clients’ and own funds 

Shri Bimal Kumar Bararia, member of Calcutta Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from May 13, 2003 till September 12, 2003.
