SUSPENSION OF REGISTRATION

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended M/s Somani Stock Broking Pvt. Ltd., member of Calcutta Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 030757339) for a period of six months. The penalty is imposed for not maintaining documents Register, order book and margin book, irregularities in client broker agreement, delay in payment to clients, not maintaining strict segregation between clients' funds and own funds, not collecting margins from clients and entering into negotiated deals. 

M/s Somani Stock Broking Pvt. Ltd., member of Calcutta Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from October 14, 2002 till April 13, 2003.
