Suspension of Registration

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Sandeep Mittal, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB100830812) for a period of two months. In the event the broker does not make payment of SEBI fees, the suspension shall continue till the payment of SEBI fees. 

The suspension is for not maintaining proper document register, irregularities in issuance of contract note, dealing with brokers of other Stock Exchange without getting registered as sub-broker, indulging in unauthorised carry forward transactions, not maintaining clear segregation between clients' fund and own funds and not paying SEBI fees as per regulations. 

Shri Sandeep Mittal, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 04, 2002 till May 03, 2002. In the event the broker does not make payment of SEBI fees, the suspension shall continue till the payment of SEBI fees.
