Suspension of Registration

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Ashok Chinubhai Shah, member of Ahmedabad Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 020495716) for a period of four months for not maintaining written consent of clients for principal to principal transactions, not maintaining proper segregation between Clients' Funds and Own Funds, executing cross deals among the clients, not reporting Off-the-floor transactions, indulging in unauthorised carry forward transactions and executing fictitious transactions. 

Shri Ashok Chinubhai Shah, member of Ahmedabad Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from January 07, 2002 till May 06, 2002.
