WARNING/CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION OF THE BROKERS 

  1. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has cancelled the registration of Mrs. Swarn Munjal, member of Delhi Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 050459626), with immediate effect. The registration has been cancelled in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992 for being engaged in fund based activities and thereby defrauding the investors. Mrs. Swarn Munjal will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with immediate effect.

  2. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has warned M/s Richmen Securities Pvt. Ltd., member of Hyderabad Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 060956235) for financing members of HSE to meet their pay-in by routing fictitious transactions in the form of spot transactions and later reversing the transactions with a sale transaction in the regular settlement trading.. The warning has been served in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992.

  3. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has warned M/s Sri Siddhi Vinayak Shares Ltd., member of Madras Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 040633536) for not reporting off-the-floor transactions to MSE, dealing with BSE/NSE broker without obtaining registration as sub-broker from SEBI and issuing contract notes of MSE for transactions done on BSE/NSE. The warning has been served in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992.

  4. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has warned Shri Mukesh K. Mehta, member of Ahmedabad Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 020494815) for not reporting off-the-floor transactions to the Exchange, dealing with brokers of other Stock Exchange on behalf of clients without obtaining registration as sub-broker from SEBI and indulging in carry forward transactions. The warning has been served in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992.
