Suspension of Member from Jaipur Stock Exchange - Rajan Maheshwari

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Rajan Maheshwari, member of Jaipur Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 160207411) for a period of one month. He has been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for not producing the books of accounts and records for the year 1997-98 for inspection, Sauda Book and Document Register not maintained properly, irregularities in issuance of contract notes, non-segregation of clients' fund with own funds, dealing with un-registered sub-brokers, off-the-floor transactions not reported to the Stock Exchange and misuse of Stock Exchange Clearing system mechanism to settle interpersonal loans. 
 
Shri Rajan Maheshwari, member of Jaipur Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from July 02, 1999 till August 01, 1999.
