SUSPENSION OF MEMBER BROKERS OF UTTAR PRADESH 
STOCK EXCHANGE

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended M/s Chucknoo & Co. (Shri Sudhir Agarwal, SEBI Reg. No. INB 100464621 & Shri Sanjeev Agarwal, SEBI Reg. No. INB 100464426, partners of the broking firm), members of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange for a period of two months. He has been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for indulging in carry-forward transactions. 
M/s Chucknoo & Co., member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 09, 1999 till May 08, 1999. 

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Harvinder Singh, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB100352311) for a period of two months. He has been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for indulging in carry-forward transactions, not reporting off-the-floor transactions and dealing with unregistered sub-brokers.. 

Shri Harvinder Singh, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 09, 1999 till May 08, 1999. 

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Krishan Mohan Shukla, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB100356415) for a period of two months. He has been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for indulging in carry-forward transactions. 

Shri Krishan Mohan Shukla, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 09, 1999 till May 08, 1999. 

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Sarvan Kumar Agarwal, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB100373418) for a period of three months. He has been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for indulging in carry-forward transactions and misuse of debit note facility. 

Shri Sarvan Kumar Agarwal, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 02, 1999 till June 01, 1999.
