The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended M/s Surinder Singh Mehta(INB 160211916), member of Jaipur Stock Exchange, for a period of one month with effect from June 24, 1998. M/s Surinder Singh Mehta, have been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for non reporting off the floor transactions, non maintenance of bad-delivery register, non rectification of bad delivery within the specified time limit, misutilisation of Stock Exchange mechanism for securing the payment, not operating separate bank account for clients and non affixing of broker note stamp on contract notes.
