SUSPENSION OF SHRI HARI KRISHNA GARG/ H.K. GARG & CO. 

SECONDARY MARKET DEPARTMENT

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Hari Krishna Garg, present trade name M/s. H. K. Garg & Co., a member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange, for three months with effect from February 15, 1997. Shri Hari Krishna Garg/M/s. H.K. Garg & Co., has been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for violation/contravention of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992.
 
Shri Hari Krishna Garg will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from February 15, 1997 till May 14, 1997 and Shri Hari Krishna Garg will not be allowed to operate his individual or corporate membership in any Exchange during the period of suspension.
