Order in the matter of R. N. Polymer Industries Limited

Shri G. Mahalingam, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order dated June 19, 2017 in the matter of R. N. Polymer Industries Limitedunder Sections 11 and 11B of the SEBI Act, inter - alia directing: 

  1. RNPIL and the above named directors namely, Bandana Basak, Amal Kumar Basak and Chanchal Basak and Pathik Bandhu Lohar shall not access the securities market or buy, sell or otherwise deal in the securities market, either directly or indirectly, or associate themselves with any listed company or company intending to raise money from the public;
     
  2. RNPIL and the above named Directors shall neither dispose of, alienate or encumber any of its/their assets nor divert any funds raised from public through the offer and allotment of preference shares and offer and allotment of debentures; 
     
  3. RNPIL and the above named Directors shall co-operate with SEBI and shall furnish all information/documents in connection with the offer and allotment of preference shares and offer and allotment of debentures sought vide letter dated January 05, 2016 and reminder letter dated November 21, 2016.
     
  4. Pathik Bandhu Lohar shall not henceforth act as debenture trustee in respect of debentures of RNPIL and shall not take up any new assignment or involvement in any new issue of securities in a similar capacity.
