Order in the matter of M/s Peers Allied Corporation Limited and its directors

Shri S. Raman, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order on April 23, 2014 in the matter of M/s Peers Allied Corporation Limited. The order directed the company and its directors viz. Mr Durga Prasad Dubey, Mr Anup Aggarwal, Mr Ashish Kumar Tripathi , Ms Indu Dubey, Ms Manju Upadhyay, Mr Alok Tripathi, Mr Sadhu Sharan, Mr. Sandeep Kumar Mishra , and Mr. Ajay Kumar Pandey, not to collect any more money from investors including
under the existing schemes, not to launch any new schemes, not to dispose of any of the properties or alienate any of the assets of the schemes, not to divert any funds raised from public at large which are kept in bank account(s) and/or in the custody of M/s Peers Allied Corporation Limited, to immediately submit the full inventory of the assets owned by M/s Peers Allied Corporation Limited out of the amounts collected from the "Customers"/investors under its existing "Schemes" and to furnish all the information/details sought by SEBI, till date including the details of scheme wise list of investors and their contact numbers and addresses, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the Order.
 
M/s Peers Allied Corporation Limited was prima facie found to be engaged in fund mobilising activity from public by floating ‘collective investment schemes’ as defined in Section 11AA of the SEBI Act.
 
The company had launched various collective investment schemes without obtaining certificate of registration from SEBI, thus contravening the provisions of section 12 (1B) of the SEBI Act and SEBI (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 1999.
