Consent Order in the matter of M/s. Ekam Leasing and Finance Co. Limited
A Panel consisting of Chairman, SEBI, Shri U.K.Sinha and Whole Time Member, SEBI, Shri Prashant Saran, has
passed consent order dated September 22, 2011 on the consent application submitted by M/s. Ekam Leasing and
Finance Co. Limited for alleged delay in compliance with the provisions of Regulation 8(3) of the SEBI (Substantial
Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 1997 for the years 1998 to 2009, relating to disclosures to be
made to the Stock Exchanges.
The applicant has remitted a sum of Rs.5,60,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh Sixty Thousand only) towards the settlement
charges in the matter.
