ORDER IN THE MATTER OF WASHINGTON SOFTWARES LIMITED

Dr. K. M. Abraham, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order dated March 29, 2010 in the matter of Washington Softwares Ltd. restraining eight entities viz. (1) Shri Sanjay Sonawani, (2) Shri Abhay Shastri, (3) Shri Vinod Sonawani, (4), Suryoday Finmark Consultants Pvt. Ltd., (5) Suryoday Engineering Ltd., (6) Suryoday Service Stations Ltd., (7) Shastri Foods & Vegetables Ltd., (8) Pushpa Prakashan Ltd. from accessing the securities market and prohibiting them from buying, selling or otherwise dealing in securities, either directly or indirectly for a period of one month. Further, vide the aforesaid order, the proceedings against Shri Rohidas Kumbharkar have been abated on account of his death and the show cause notice issued to Shri Mitesh Kulkarni has been disposed of without any directions.

The Order shall come into force with immediate effect.
