Cancellation of Certificate of Registration of GIC Mutual Fund

Pursuant to the transfer of schemes of GIC Mutual Fund to Canbank Mutual Fund and at the request of GIC Mutual Fund, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), vide its letter dated September 19, 2007 has cancelled the certificate of registration of GIC Mutual Fund and withdrawn the approval granted to GIC Asset Management Company Limited, to act as the Asset Management Company.

Consequently, with immediate effect, the GIC Mutual Fund, the Board of Trustees of GIC Mutual Fund and GIC Asset Management Company Limited cannot carry out any activity as a Mutual Fund, Trustees or Asset Management Company respectively.
