Shri V.K.Chopra, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order dated September 03, 2007, against M/s. Mega Millennium Investment Pvt. Ltd. Member, Interconnected Stock Exchange of India and Sub-broker of NSE & BSE, M/s. Mega Millennium Securities Pvt. Ltd. and their Directors Mr. Swaminathan Mahalingam and Mr. Pradipta Chatterjee prohibiting them from buying, selling or dealing in securities in any manner whatsoever either for themselves or for their clients, till further orders are passed by SEBI in this regard. The entities have allegedly indulged in borrowing of securities from gullible investors by misrepresentation and fictitious means. They also failed to redress investor grievances.
