Order against M/s. Abhipra Capital Ltd.

Shri V.K.Chopra, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order dated August 17, 2007, against M/s. Abhipra Capital Ltd., having SEBI Registration Nos. INB010815054 (member BSE), INB230815053 (member NSE), INB200815054 (member OTCEI), IN-DP-NSDL-22-97 (NSDL), IN-DP-CDSL-56-2000 (CDSL) and INR000003829 (Registrar to the Issue), for non-redressal of Investor grievances and for indulging in undesirable activities. M/s. Abhipra Capital Ltd. (ACL) has been directed not to open any new trading as well as DP account and also not to undertake any new business as a Registrar to an Issue/Share Transfer Agent till completion of the pending Enquiry Proceedings and passing of the final order by SEBI. Apart from that NSE has been advised to deduct the amount equivalent to the current market price of 449 shares of ACC and sales proceeds of 29 other shares, from the deposit of the member, ACL and retain the same in a separate account, till the full and final settlement of the matter.
