Rejection of exemption application of M/s. Shivshakti Agro India Ltd. and others for proposed acquisition of shares in M/s. Cressanda Solutions Ltd. 

Dr. T.C.Nair, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order dated April 26, 2007, rejecting the application of M/s. Shivshakti Agro India Ltd. and others (acquirer) seeking exemption from applicability of Regulation 10 of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeover) Regulations, 1997, in respect of its proposed acquisition of 23.4% of the equity shares of the target company, M/s. Cressanda Solutions Ltd. (Target Company) by way of preferential allotment.
