Order against M/s. Juggonpursad Baijnath and its proprietor Shri M.L.Nathany

Dr. T.C.Nair, Whole Time Member, SEBI, vide order dated April 26, 2007, has suspended the certificate of registration of M/s. Juggonpursad Baijnath, Member, Calcutta Stock Exchange (Regn. No. INB 030040915) for a period of six months. The broker has been found guilty of violating the provisions of SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade practices Relating to Securities Market), Regulations, 1995, provisions of the Code of Conduct as specified in SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub Brokers) Regulations, 1992 and also SEBI circulars while dealing in the shares of Ankit Prachi Trading and Investments Ltd.
 
Further, Shri M.L.Nathany, proprietor of the broking firm M/s. Juggonpursad Baijnath, has been prohibited from buying, selling or dealing in securities, in any manner whatsoever for a period of six months. 
 
This order shall come into force after the expiry of 21 days from the date of the order.
