Rejection of exemption application of M/s. G.E. Chemical Company S.A. for proposed acquisition of shares in M/s. Daikaffil Chemicals India Limited
Shri G.Anantharaman, Whole Time Member, SEBI has passed an Order dated February 05, 2007 rejecting the application of M/s. G.E. Chemical Company S.A. (acquirer) seeking exemption from applicability of Regulation 10 of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeover) Regulations, 1997, in respect of its proposed acquisition of 25.10% of the equity shares of the target company, M/s. Daikaffil Chemicals India Limited (Target Company) by way of preferential allotment.
