Registration of BOI Mutual Fund, cancelled
On a request made by BOI Mutual Fund, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) vide its order dated January 09, 2007 has cancelled the certificate of registration of BOI Mutual Fund and has also withdrawn the approval granted to erstwhile BOI Asset Management Co. Ltd. to act as the asset management company. The order was passed by Dr. T.C.Nair, Whole Time Member,
SEBI.
Consequently, with immediate effect, BOI Mutual Fund, the Principal Trustee of BOI Mutual Fund and BOI Asset Management Co. Ltd. cannot carry out any activity as a mutual fund, trustee or asset management company as the case may be, in accordance with the regulations.
