Order against Shri Kailash Chandra Agrawal, Partner 

M/s. Ashok Amar and Associates, Chartered Accountants

Shri G. Anantharaman, Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India has passed an order dated January 11, 2007 prohibiting Shri Kailash Chandra Agrawal, partner of M/s Ashok Amar & Associates, Chartered Accountant, for issuing false certificates regarding the preferential allotment of shares of Padmini Technologies Ltd. (erstwhile Padmini Polymers Ltd.), from issuing any certificate with respect to compliance of obligations of listed companies and requirements or those made under securities laws {Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956, the Depositories Act, 1996 and the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 which are administered by SEBI under section 55A thereof, the Rules, Regulations, Guidelines etc. made under these Acts (which are administered by SEBI) and the Listing Agreement} for a period of five years. Shri Kailash Chandra Agrawal is also prohibited from associating with the securities market related activities or associating with any of the intermediaries in the securities market for a period of five years.
