Certificate of registration of Mehta Vakil & Co. Pvt. Ltd., Member � BSE (Regn. No. INB 01979634) has been suspended for a period of fifteen days. The broker has been found guilty of violating the provisions of SEBI Act, 1992, SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub Brokers) Rules, 1992, provisions of the Code of Conduct as specified in SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub Brokers) Regulations, 1992 and also SEBI circulars, while dealing in the shares of V.B. Desai Financial Services Ltd. 
 
The order has been passed by Shri Madhukar, Whole Time Member, SEBI on December 30, 2005 and shall come into force after the expiry of 21 days from the date of this order.
