‘Cease and Desist’ Order passed against M/s. Janata Sahakari Bank Limited, Depository Participant (DP), NSDL.

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has passed a cease and desist order on October 15, 2004 against M/s. JANATA SAHAKARI BANK LIMITED, (Depository Participant), National Securities Depository Ltd. (NSDL), having registration number IN-DP-NSDL-26-97.
 
The order has been passed against M/s. JANATA SAHAKARI BANK LIMITED for violations, deficiencies and irregularities observed in its operations as a Depository Participant. The order shall come into force with immediate effect.
