Shri J.K. Barasia banned from the capital market for one year

Shri Jugal Kishore Barasia has been restrained from accessing the capital market and prohibited from buying, selling and dealing in securities for a period of one year. The order was passed by Shri A.K.Batra, Whole Time Member, on August 17, 2004. Shri J.K. Barasia was involved in the manipulation of the price of the scrip, M/s Cyberspace Ltd. along with other entities. He had created a false market in the scrip and also provided financial support to these entities to carry out heavy trading in the scrip with a view to create artificial volumes in the scrip.
