Registration of M/s. Kaji and Maulik Securities Pvt. Ltd., - Depository Participant of CDSL, cancelled

SEBI has cancelled the certificate of Registration of M/s. Kaji and Maulik Securities Pvt. Ltd. (KMSPL), as depository participant of Central Depositories Services (India) Ltd. (CDSL) with immediate effect. The order was passed by Shri T.M.Nagarajan, Whole Time Member, on July 29, 2004.
 
KMSPL bearing SEBI registration number IN-DP-CDSL-116-200, surrendered its certificate of registration as depository participant of CDSL in March 2004. CDSL had approved the same and forwarded the application to SEBI for cancellation of certificate of registration of KMSPL. 
 
Summary Procedure was initiated against the entity in terms of Regulation 15(1) of SEBI (Procedure for Holding Enquiry by Enquiry Officer and Imposing Penalty) Regulation 2002. Accordingly enquiry officer was appointed, who submitted his report with the recommendation to cancel the certificate of registration of KMSPL. 
 
Based on the recommendation of the enquiry officer, Whole Time Member passed the final order on July 29, 2004 to cancel the certificate of registration of KMSPL.
