Registration of M/s. Amitabh Sonthalia, suspended

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended the certificate of registration of M/s. Amitabh Sonthalia, SEBI Reg. No. INB 030966517, member Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) for a period of four months. The penalty is imposed for their indulgence in off-market transactions. 
 
M/s. Amitabh Sonthalia, member of CSE will not be entitled to carry on the business as a stock broker with effect from August 11, 2004 till December 10, 2004.
