SUSPENSION OF CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION OF BROKER.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Vinod J. Gupta, member of Pune Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 110241310) for a period of six months. The penalty is imposed for irregularities in issuance of contract notes, dealing as un-registered sub broker, not entered into agreement with the clients, not reporting off-the-floor transactions to the Stock Exchange, indulged in illegal carry forward transactions and entered into cross deals. 

Shri Vinod J. Gupta, member of Pune Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from September 02, 2002 till March 01, 2003.
