ACTION AGAINST BROKER

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Sat Narain Jalan (Trade Name: M/s Jalan & Co.), member of Delhi Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 050100714), from carrying on any activity as an underwriter in the capital market for a period of three months. He has been suspended for not fulfilling the underwriting obligation. 

Shri Sat Narain Jalan, member of Delhi Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on underwriting activities with effect from April 23, 2002 till July 22, 2002.
