SUSPENSION OF REGISTRATION OF BROKERS, UPSE

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Vinod Kumar - M/s. Vinod Kumar & Co. SEBI Reg. No. INB100694710 and Shri T. N. Bansal - M/s. T. N. Bansal & Co., SEBI Reg. No. INB100379412, members of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for two months and three months for indulging in illegal carry-forward transactions and for not maintaining books of accounts, not routing clients' transactions through Client Account, non-rectification of bad delivery in time, misusing Stock Exchange mechanism to settle loan transactions, indulging in illegal carry-forward transactions respectively. 
 
Shri Vinod Kumar - M/s. Vinod Kumar & Co., member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 30, 1999 till May 29, 1999(two months). 
 
Shri T. N. Bansal - M/s. T. N. Bansal & Co., member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 30, 1999 till June 29, 1999(three months).
