Cancellation of Registration of Shri N. George Paul

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has cancelled the registration of Shri N. George Paul (Trade name: M/s Pat & Co. SEBI Reg. No. INB 090268610), member of Cochin Stock Exchange, with immediate effect. The registration has been cancelled in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992. The registration has been cancelled in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992. Enquiry was initiated against the broker on the basis various violations observed during the inspection of books of accounts of the broker. 
 
Also, the broker has been declared defaulter in the Cochin Stock Exchange and ceased to be member of the Exchange, thereby failing to fulfill the pre-requisite of registration with SEBI. 
 
Shri N. George Paul (Trade name: M/s Pat & Co. will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with immediate effect.
