SUSPENSION OF M/s. A.K. Jain & Co.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended M/s. A. K. Jain & Co., a member of Jaipur Stock Exchange, for thirty days with effect from February 12, 1998. M/s A. K. Jain & Co have been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992 for irregularities in issuance of contract notes to the clients, not reporting off-market transactions, non segregation of clients� fund from proprietary funds, dealing with un-registered sub-brokers and delay in redressal of investors� complaints. 
 
M/s A. K. Jain & Co. will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from 12^th February, 1998 to 13^thMarch, 1998.
