BANKER TO AN ISSUE - THE UNITED WESTERN BANK LTD.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 11 B read with Section 4(3) of the SEBI Act, 1992, SEBI has directed and restrained the Karol Baug, New Delhi Branch of The United Western Bank Ltd, Bankers to an Issue from undertaking any fresh assignments as a Banker to an Issue for a period of 6 months w.e.f July 10, 1997 to January 9, 1998 for violation of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Bankers to an Issue) Rules and Regulations, 1994 in the public issue of M/s Interads Exports Ltd. The Banker to an Issue will however be permitted to complete the assignments accepted till July 9, 1997.
